About Us

Ukrainian Canadian Professional and Business Association of Edmonton focus has been to raise awareness of Ukrainian Professional and Business people in Edmonton and Alberta.

Our goal is to host functions and events to bring businesses, professionals, community and interested parties together – building opportunities through interactions.  We are a membership based organization – We look forward to exploring options with you.

Ukrainian Canadian Professional and Business Association is legally incorporated independent business association.  We received our incorporation status in the Province of Alberta on December 1, 2015

 

UCPBAE four primary goals are:

Networking, Education, Communications and Growth Together

Our intent is to be the connector for entrepreneurs and professionals (or individuals) who have an interest in doing business in Ukrainian Community in Edmonton, Alberta or Ukraine.

We look for opportunity to help members foster relationships by:

  • providing networking events such as business mixers or luncheon,
  • proactively setting up strategic business introduction sessions
  • invite members to participate or enroll in educational workshops
  • invite members to participate in one or more Brainstorm Sessions

We believe it is important to first listen and understand what professionals and businesses in Ukrainian Community might be looking for from our Association.  We strongly believe that by working together with businesses, professionals, government and communities, we will contribute to continually improving the profile of Ukrainians… and creating additional business opportunities in our growing and vibrant community.

Our organization consists of a diverse group of business professionals with a wide range of skills and expertise.  By sharing common goals we are able to increase the opportunity for each business in our community.

Objectives

Our mission is to provide programs for Canadians of Ukrainian descent that reinforce our common heritage and make us valuable contributors within our society. 

  • Help foster growth and development of the Ukrainian Canadian professional and business community.
  • Promote and advance business and professional interests of individuals of Ukrainian heritage in the Edmonton area.
  • Recognize the achievements and contributions of individuals of Ukrainian heritage in Canada.
  • Contribute to Canadian society by promoting good corporate citizenship and principles of volunteerism.
  • Uphold and promote Ukrainian and Ukrainian Canadian culture.
  • Facilitate and promote business and professional relationships with Ukraine and Ukrainians around the world.
